Ways to work together

SOMATIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY FOR THE WAYS YOU SENSE, FUNCTION, CONNECT, AND PARTICIPATE.

Five Circle Somatics brings together occupational therapy, nervous-system support, sensory processing,
interoception, and embodied awareness.
Our work considers not only what you are experiencing, but how it affects routines, environments, work, rest,
relationships, self-care, creativity, and participation in the parts of life that matter to you.

INDIVIDUAL SOMATIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SESSIONS

Individual sessions weave together the Five Circles while remaining grounded in occupational therapy, sensory processing, nervous-system support, and meaningful participation in daily life.
Together, we explore how your body, sensory system, environment, identity, and lived experiences influencehow you care for yourself, work, rest, connect, create, and participate in what matters to you. Sessions areshaped around your goals and your unique ways of sensing and moving through the world.

FOUNDATIONS OF OUR WORK

  • Nervous-System Awareness & Regulation: Recognizing patterns of activation, overwhelm, shutdown, and disconnection while building supportive regulation practices.

  • Sensory Processing & Interoception: Understanding sensory information from your body andenvironment, including internal sensations and emotional cues.

  • Embodiment & Body Awareness: Developing a more supportive relationship with sensation, movement, breath, tension, rest, and your body's signals.

  • Neurodivergent-Affirming OT: Finding support that honors your nervous system rather thanrequiring masking or conformity.

  • Meaningful Participation & Integration: Creating practical, sustainable support for self-care,work, relationships, rest, creativity, and daily life.

AREAS I SUPPORT

People may come to this work for support with:

  • Neurodivergence, high sensitivity, and sensory processing

  • Sensory overwhelm, sensory seeking, and interoception

  • Workplace modifications, accommodations, and self-advocacy

  • Executive functioning, routines, transitions, and energy management

  • Masking, burnout, boundaries, and sustainable participation

  • Somatic pelvic-floor awareness and pelvic health

  • Sexuality, embodied consent, pleasure, and connection with the body

  • Effects of sexual trauma on body awareness, felt safety, and participation

  • Eating-disorder recovery through a nervous-system, sensory, and interoceptive lens

  • Chronic tension, pain, guarding, numbness, or disconnection

  • Creativity, identity, intuition, life transitions, meaning, and belonging

You don't need to know exactly where your experience fits. We can begin with what is affecting your daily life, what
matters to you, and where you would like greater support.

CONTINUING SOMATIC OT SUPPORT

A Consistent, Intentional Container

This may include support with:

  • Sensory and nervous-system patterns, overwhelm, masking, or burnout

  • Body awareness and interoception

  • Workplace needs and life transitions

  • Sexual trauma, sexuality, or pelvic experiences

  • Eating-disorder recovery and embodied participation

  • Identity, self-advocacy, and creativity

This is not a rigid program or a promise of a particular outcome, but an intentional period of occupationaltherapy shaped around your goals and daily life.

For those who benefit from continuity, ongoing sessions offer space to explore patterns, integrate the workinto daily life, and discover practical supports that align with your needs and capacity.

SOMATIC PELVIC-FLOOR THERAPY

Listening to the Pelvis as Part of the Whole Person

This work may support:

  • Pelvic awareness, tension, pain, guarding, numbness, or disconnection

  • Pelvic-floor responses to stress and nervous-system states

  • Reconnection following sexual trauma or difficult experiences

  • Greater trust, comfort, and choice within the body

  • Sexuality, boundaries, pleasure, and embodied consent

My approach differs from traditional exercise- or symptom-focused pelvic-floor therapy. Although I amtrained in internal assessment and treatment, internal work is never assumed or required.

As a BCIA Board Certified Biofeedback Practitioner, I may also use biofeedback, when appropriate anddesired, to support awareness of pelvic-floor patterns.

All pelvic work is collaborative, consent-based, and guided by what feels appropriate for you.

Somatic pelvic-floor therapy explores the relationship between the pelvis, nervous system, sensoryprocessing, interoception, movement, sexuality, safety, and lived experience.

INTEGRATION SESSIONS

Experiences such as journeying, retreats, ceremonies, or other intensive personal-growth experiences
can be powerful and sometimes challenging to integrate alone. These sessions offer grounded support forbringing what emerged back into everyday life.

Sessions may include:

  • Nervous-system regulation and sensory support

  • Re-establishing routines and daily rhythms

  • Exploring shifts in identity, values, or priorities

  • Translating insights into sustainable action

  • Body-based emotional awareness

  • Boundaries, self-advocacy, and relational support

  • Reconnecting with work, creativity, community, and meaningful daily life

Integration sessions are grounded in occupational therapy and somatic, nervous-system-informed practice. They
do not include psychotherapy, substance administration, psychedelic facilitation, or medical guidance.

It’s All Connected

There are so many parts of us that shape how we experience the world—our bodies, our nervous systems, our stories, our relationships, and the things that give our lives meaning.
The Five Circles is a space to bring those pieces together. To listen more closely, understand yourself moredeeply, and create more room for connection, choice, and the life that feels true to you.
